The Role
This is a great opportunity for experienced CNC personnel (CNC Programmers / CNC Setters / CNC Operators) to join a fast-paced Precision Engineering company within South Wales. We are seeking individuals who have experience of Mazatrol and Fanuc. This is a Monday – Friday days’ based role offering a salary of £25,000.

 

Duties
As a CNC Setter / CNC Programmer you will be working within a manufacturing environment, performing manufacturing processes, programming, setting & operating CNC machines alongside a team of Engineers producing work to ISO 9001 quality standards. As the successful CNC Programmer you will:

  • Programme machines on a diverse range of products and components
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve workflow and reduce waste
  • Work to strict time constraints
  • Ensure standards are kept to the highest of standards

 

The Person

  • Minimum 4 years machining experience
  • Conversant with Mazatrol (Mazak programming language)
  • Fully conversant with Fanuc
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to check work and ensure that it is to an acceptable standard
  • Experience of inspecting manufactured components
  • Have knowledge of tooling specifications
  • Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised within a team environment
